newbies laments again
Hi, the Newbies lament appears to be an ongoing saga!Got a little over confident last week, using fire ftp and uploading and downloading all over the place,somehow my website had a sort of breakdown!Mysite had one immovable page! no ads no links or anything, what the hell had I done wrong this time?
One long email to support, 2 days waiting, and lo and behold I had wrecked the htaccess!dont know how but I must have clicked once too often,and said overwrite all when a little thought would have told me NO!So support did what they do and sorted it for me by changing ht acces so I could sort out site.
Well in between sorting site,and when I started my upload download saga, I paid to have a bit of software uploaded by professionals, gave them all the current(as of then)ifno for access, and in true newbie style, did not let them know what was what, in my defense I didnt know it would make a difference!It did,professional upload wrecked ht access again!couldnt download,dead in water, site got a 403 and site suspended! oops!! so now I wait to see if my host forgives me!or decides that even though I am an old newbie! enough is enough!So you see I do have a newbies lament again!
I will come back and let you know how I get on!Honest! |
